In recent years, Fresh has evolved from an indie beauty brand to a global brand well-known for its usage of natural ingredients as well as its eco-friendly practices.
As part of Fresh’s brand awareness campaigns, the brand engaged local influencers in Southeast Asia to understand the inspiration and natural ingredients behind the skincare products.
For the launch of Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask in 2017, Fresh invited Christabel Chua (@bellywellyjelly) to visit a lotus flower field in Vietnam.
At the beginning of January 2020, Fresh launched a new Lotus-based product on its Facebook page.
The launch included a pop-up event at Sephora Singapore’s flagship store at ION Orchard as well as a #FreshJourney trip to the lotus field in Udon Thani, Thailand with regional influencers for a trip to #DestressWithFresh.
The participating influencers included yoga teacher & influencer Erica Tenggara (@ericatenggarayoga), Thailand beauty blogger Mos (@mossster_) and Singapore renowned beauty influencer Mongchin Yeoh (@mongabong).
The official photographs were published on Fresh’s Facebook post on January 29th, however, the snippets and behind-the-scene photos had been shared by Mongchin on her Instagram profile repeatedly prior to the post.
As of the end of February 2020, the beauty influencer had posted 10 times of the lotus flower field images and/or the new Fresh Lotus Moisturizer product.
Apart from the permanent posts on her profile, Mongchin did a series of Instagram stories dedicated to promoting the pop-up event mentioned earlier in the article. In the session, she further elaborated on the product reviews, ingredients as well as the Moisturizer Swap campaign.
The eco-friendly campaign urged followers to bring their empty moisturizer packaging to Fresh boutiques or pop-up at Sephora Ion for recycling and redeem a travel-sized Lotus Moisturizer in return.
