TopSon OG x PVP eSports

On December 7th and 8th of 2019, PVP eSports (@pvp.gg) drew a large audience at Sands Expo and Convention.

The eSports championship held competitions for Hearthstone, Mobile Legends Bang Bang and Dota 2 as well as a stage line-up of popular eSports and cosplay personalities.

First held in 2018, the event was organized by Singtel and this year the event was held alongside Singapore Comic-Con (@sgcomiccon) by ReedPOP as the target audience for both events did overlap.

One of the featured guests who graced PVP eSports event’s stage was Topias  Miikka Taavitsainen (@topson.gg), a Finnish professional Dota 2 player part of OG.

The twenty-one year old player rose to fame in 2018 when he joined the newly formed team OG which won The International 8 and 9 back-to-back, receiving great fanfare. For more on Topias, check out the midlaner’s official website and  the official introduction by OG here

The breakout Dota 2 star posted on his Twitter account a week prior to PVP eSports regarding his two appearances: a meet-n-greet session on Dec 7th and 1v1 game with fans on Dec 8th. A recording of the 1v1 game stream can be viewed here.

In terms of content, PVP eSports conducted a text interview with Topson prior to the event and Team NOC (Night Owl Cinematics) conducted a  video interview with the TI9 MVP discussing features of the recent Dota patch, The Outlanders.
