K-Beauty curator Ksisters opened a Pop-Up at Tangs Orchard

Lee Jungmin started Ksisters in August 2016; a blogshop which started the trend of “twinning” — matching outfits for mothers and daughters. The brand subsequently grew to be an e-commerce store for beauty and fashion items curated specifically for Singapore climate.

The focus on the brand since inception has been community hence the constant engagement with their users via Instagram content, coining the hashtag #MSBB (My Skin But Better).

Ksisters had an event activation at Tangs Plaza on 22nd to 28th of November 2019 to launch their new series of skincare bundles. The pop-up cafe invited people to do a simple questionnaire to determine their skin condition and enjoy a cup of infused tea and receive skincare recommendations.

There are 4 different sets of products, each curated for different skin conditions.

The skincare sets were reviewed by The DC Edit which was founded by Andrea Chong and covered by Yahoo as well as featured in Insta-stories by beauty-focused platforms such as DailyVanity and Zula.

Influencers who have visited the pop-up cafe and posted Insta-stories on their accounts in support of the brands include Melissa Celestine Koh, Christabel Chua, Xin Lin Khaw, Michelle Hon, and Andrea Chong.

Previous influencer engagement by Ksisters includes an interview of the founder, Jungmin by Michelle Hon in an episode of MomBoss Spotlight youtube series and a Heart of Gold donation campaign by Crib Society involving local influencers such as Melissa Celestine Koh, Michelle Hon, and Andrea Chong.
